What affects the price

  • Roof type. Tile repairs often cost more than shingle repairs because tiles have to be lifted and reset carefully, and underlayment work adds labor.
  • Cause and extent. A cracked tile or a resealed vent is a small job; underlayment replacement over a large section is not.
  • Access and pitch. Steep, high, or hard-to-reach roofs take longer.
  • Urgency. Emergency or after-hours work can carry a surcharge.
  • Permits. Larger jobs may need a permit.

Repair vs. replacement

For context, Angi lists typical full roof replacements nationally at roughly $5,900–$12,900. For tile roofs in good condition, a “raise and reset” (new underlayment, reusing the existing tiles) is a common alternative to full replacement in Las Vegas.
